Welcome to Sea Spirit Diving Resort, our underwater paradise located in Giardini Naxos, just minutes from Taormina.
We were founded in 2012 by Carmelo Sgroi out of a passion for the sea and scuba diving, with the goal of offering unforgettable experiences to anyone wishing to explore the wonders of the underwater world.
Sea Spirit is the only PADI 5 Star CDC Dive Resort in the area, a recognition that reflects our commitment to excellence in scuba education.
We offer PADI courses for all levels, using an Olympic-size pool for confined water sessions and high-quality Scubapro equipment.
Diving activities take place at 14 selected sites, all just minutes away by our RIB (rigid inflatable boat) or our Sea Spirit 1 boat, equipped with every comfort to guarantee safety and relaxation.
Each dive offers a chance to explore the rich biodiversity of the Mediterranean Sea and experience truly unique emotions.

How to Reach Us
Our office is located inside the UNAhotel Naxos Beach Resort.
From Catania (55 km / 45 minutes) Take the A18 motorway towards Messina and exit at Giardini-Naxos. The resort is just a few minutes from the exit. Parking available at the hotel (upon request).
From Messina (52 km / 50 minutes) Take the A18 motorway towards Catania, exit at Giardini-Naxos.
From Taormina centre (6 km / 10 minutes) Easily accessible by car, taxi, or local bus.
Nearest station: Taormina-Giardini Naxos (4.5 km) Connected by regional and intercity trains from all over Sicily. From there, it’s a 5–10 minute taxi ride to the resort.
From Catania Airport / city center: about 1 hour and 15 minutes with Interbus, stop Recanati – Giardini-Naxos.
Connections also available from Palermo, Messina, Syracuse and other Sicilian cities.

A great diving experience with the Sea Spirit team. The pre-dive admin was super easy with good response times especially considering the number of questions we had! The actual dive experience was fabulous with two of our team getting qualifications. Marguerite and Swann were fabulous instructors, providing a calm but fun experience. Highly recommend!

Ho prenotato un corso di aggiornamento subacqueo dopo non aver fatto immersioni per 2 anni. La prenotazione online è stata facile e ho ricevuto email e conferme WhatsApp, che ho apprezzato. Il negozio di immersioni aveva un sacco di materiali e dimensioni. Il mio istruttore di immersioni era Chrysti che amavo. Era molto esperta, professionale, chiara nella comunicazione e divertente con cui immergersi. La barca era grande anche con molti serbatoi e attrezzature. Lei marinaio (s) erano esperti e disponibili. Non sono tornato per altre immersioni durante il mio periodo in Sicilia ma questo non aveva nulla a che fare con questo grande negozio di immersioni e la gente. Grazie per il corso di aggiornamento!

Organized and communicative
Communication with Sea Spirit is very easy going and straightforward. No worries if you have questions, they answer them quickly and comprehensively. Had an excellent time diving with them for two days (four dives) as an AOW. Would recommend them if you want to explore Sicily underwater

Équipes extrêmement professionnels, avec un équipement de qualité ( bateau y compris)Spécial dédicace à notre moniteur Julien qui parlait français et qui a su faire en sorte que notre expérience, en tant que débutants soit inoubliable.Nous nous sentions pleinement en sécurité.Le capitaine, sicilien dans l’âme et dans la manière était également adorable.Le goûter mériterait d’être un peu plus conséquent, et le fait de laver nos combinaisons avant de partir devrait être retirer pour une expérience parfaite.Néanmoins, tout fut parfait, merci à toute l équipe.
