The passion for diving began for Cilla Lentz in 2010, during a vacation in Koh Tao, Thailand. After returning to the Netherlands and her regular life and job, she felt the need for a profound change. In 2012, she followed her calling and went back to Koh Tao to begin her professional journey as a PADI Divemaster
During her training, she worked closely with experienced instructors and actively participated in numerous courses, refining her technical skills, teaching approach, and sensitivity. Her internship at Buddha View Dive Resort soon evolved into a new challenge: to become a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor.
After earning her certification, she worked at some of the best dive centers in Koh Tao, including Buddha View and Master Divers. Here, she expanded her expertise not only in instruction but also in the day-to-day management of international diving resorts, with special attention to customer relations and enhancing the overall diving experience.
In 2013, she moved to Sicily, eager to bring her skills to a new environment like the Mediterranean Sea and continue growing as an instructor. The following year, she achieved the PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDT) certification and later the PADI IDC Staff Instructor credential, officially stepping into the world of professional dive education.
Today, Cilla is a key leader at Sea Spirit Diving Resort, where she teaches divers of all levels with passion — from beginners taking their first breath underwater to professionals looking to turn their passion for diving into a career.
