Mark Soworka is internationally recognized as one of the most experienced and successful PADI Course Directors. Active since 1997, he has maintained the highest global success rate in PADI Instructor Examinations (IE) and has helped train thousands of scuba instructors who now work with great satisfaction around the world.

He started diving at the age of 12 and has built an extensive portfolio of experience, ranging from the eastern coast of Australia to Africa, South America, and Europe, even spending several months in the Arctic Circle. Before becoming a Course Director, he issued nearly 2,000 scuba certifications and held roles as a manager and training manager in international dive centers.

His global perspective and teaching style — adaptable to very different environments — make Mark a unique figure in the world of scuba education.

Since 1997, Mark has conducted IDCs in Koh Tao and Koh Samui, Thailand, where he has trained generations of instructors. To date, he has issued over 5,000 professional certifications, confirming his status as a key figure for those looking to build a solid and international career in diving.

In 2015, Mark joined the team at Sea Spirit Diving Resort in Sicily, where he launched the Dive-Careers Europe project together with Master Instructor Carmelo Sgroi. Thanks to this collaboration, he has brought to Europe the quality, structure, and proven success of a global training method.
