The PADI Open Water Diver course unfolds through three main phases:

Knowledge Development: Learning the basic principles of diving, which can be completed online or in a classroom, depending on your needs.
Open Water Dives: Practising your skills and exploring the underwater world.
Use of Scuba Equipment: You will familiarise yourself with the basic diving gear, including an underwater computer and standard accessories.

During the course, you will learn how to select and use scuba equipment based on the diving environment, how to plan and execute effective dives, and how to prevent and manage potential problems.

Requirements

To enrol in the Open Water Diver course, you must be at least 10 years old. For PADI eLearning, the minimum age is 13.

Your Path to Certification with the Scuba Training Academy

Course Completion

To conclude your course, you will need to arrange your “e-Referral” procedure with Sea Spirit Diving Centre to proceed with practical training. Training fees will need to be paid to the Sea Spirit Diving Centre.

The additional cost includes: instructor assistance, equipment rental, pool access, diving costs, and potential purchase of additional PADI material.
