Speed up your dive with the Diver Propulsion Vehicle (DPV). With the underwater scooter you can explore a big dive area in just one dive. For example, you can go around the whole Isola Bella! It’s also a really cool experience, which every diver should try at least once!
With the DPV you can explore a larger area, so you will see more in less time. You also avoid longer swims and conserve air. All with a huge smile on your face.
Diver Propulsion Vehicle | PADI Specialty
It requiers a 2 day course to be learn how to dive with the DPV. Your instructor will teach you have to manage the DPV and will show you a few manouvers. The first dive will be in our Olympic Pool, followed by 2 open water dives.
The course contains:
- E-learning for self-study material
- 1 dive in confined water
- 2 dives in open water
During the course you will learn how to:
- Handle a DPV
- Manage depths
- Avoid problems

We have 3 scooters at Sea Spirit so it’s possible to go with your buddy and one of our instructors for a really fun dive. As you might know, we do a lot of our dives in the Marine Park of Isola Bella. With the scooter it’s possible to explore the whole island (from north to south) in just one dive and see things you normally wouldn’t see.
