After becoming a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor, the next step is to gain real-world experience by teaching courses and earning Specialty Instructor ratings. Practical Training and Mentorship

At Sea Spirit you will:

• Earn certifications in 5 PADI Specialty Instructor courses
• Assist our team during your internship to reach the 25 student certifications required for the MSDT qualification
• Enjoy unlimited diving throughout the program

MSDT Qualification Requirements

To become a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer you must:

• Be an active PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor
• Hold certifications in at least 5 PADI Specialty Instructor courses
• Have issued at least 25 PADI certifications (of any level)

If you have not yet reached 25 certifications, you can still begin the program and complete the requirement during your Sea Spirit internship.
