Alfio Puglisi

Several years have passed since Alfio started his underwater adventure in the underwater world of Catania, Sicily. Once he became an instructor, in 2014, he decided to make diving his profession and to improve his skills and experience abroad. Thanks to a mutual friend, Alfio met Carmelo Sgroi and Cilla Lentz. Together with them he left to Koh Tao, Thailand, to do his PADI Crossover in 2014. Under the supervision of the fantastic team of Dive Careers, under the guidance of Mark Soworka, he participated in the IDC at the prestigious Buddha View Diving Resort. He immediately realized the passion and professionalism that the team transmitted to all instructor candidates. Once back in Sicily, he participated in the first international IDC in2015 organized by Sea Spirit obtaining the title of PADI IDC Staff Instructor under the guidance of Mark and Carmelo. From 2020 onwards, he joins the Sea Spirit Team as IDC Staff Instructor and is completing his internship as a Master Instructor assisting Carmelo during the IDCs, having the opportunity to improve his skills according to the Dive-Careers teaching method, which allows instructor candidates to become excellent and professional and to enter the world of the diving industry.
